Why I love hiking
Hiking has been my saving grace this last year. It has given me so many gifts of love and guidance. It has held a space for me to allow me to look inside myself, and accept parts of me that I was blind to. Helped heal me in ways that I can’t describe. Theres something about sitting in the silence of nature that you can feel that true connection to God and source. To the divine. It speaks to you through the wind. Through the creatures that surround you. If you sit in silence long enough, you can hear their message.
Why I love taking pictures of nature
I love to take pictures of different perspectives. My only wish is that I could capture the feeling, smell, and atmosphere when it was taken. However, whenever I see them it takes me back to that moment, smell, and memory. Nature has this way about it. It just is what it is, and it’s not sorry about it. It’s beautiful, graceful, messy, chaotic, still, calm, and all the things. It can change at any moment, or stay the same.
